Airsoft uses replica air weapons that closely resemble real guns, therefore making the game experience more realistic. You can even perform military simulations - there are airsoft teams that recreate the training of special units.
Airsoft guns are typically magazine-fed, with some having replaceable compressed gas canisters, or are battery powered to fire the 6 mm plastic pellets with a great force. Believe us - you will feel it when the BB hits you. But the guns are not dangerous to your health if the rules are followed.
Here are some basic rules. This is a gentlemen's game. It relies on an honour system in which the person who has been hit is responsible for calling themselves out. That might not sound too exciting, because one can remain silent and keep playing, but it's in everyone's interest to be honest for the game to be interesting. In the end also we are keeping an eye on the players to play by the rules.
They can be different. There are very dynamic games with non-stop action and with no time to rest. Such games usually go on for 4 to 6 hours, but it is possible to participate in much difficult games which are based on military simulations and can last from 3 to 4 days. You can choose your role depending on the scenario and the rules of the game. For example you can be a soldier and follow the commander's orders.
